Our lab investigates the brain mechanisms underlying decision making, motivation and reward processing in humans. Our current work delves into the computations underlying how the brain makes moral and social decisions, including in social networks. In parallel, we are also studying how steroid hormones influence reward processing and social decisions. We use experimental tools such as model-based fMRI, intracranial electrophysiological recordings in patients with epilepsy, causal approaches (TMS, tDCS) and pharmacological manipulations combined with multimodal neuroimaging (simultaneous PET-fMRI).
