Our lab investigates the psychological, computational and neural principles that enable humans to learn, decide and adapt in social environments. We study how people evaluate rewards, learn from others, infer intentions and reliability, and combine private and social information when making moral, strategic and collective decisions. A central aim is to understand how these individual computations scale into group-level phenomena such as cooperation, consensus, polarization and collective intelligence. By integrating mathematical modelling, behavioural experiments, neuroscience and network science, we seek to explain how beliefs and decisions emerge, spread and evolve across human groups and human–AI systems.
